Online Zoom Mass from Our Lady and St Benedict's
Due to Covid-19 the 10am mass on a Sunday is also available via live stream
To comply with data protection and security we will not be publishing the link or password to our online
mass. If you would like the zoom link please email the parish on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send the link and password.
When you log into our Zoom mass you are put into a waiting room until the host accepts you. Can you please try and make your account recognisable by family name, this helps us to filter those joining, it is difficult when the login says only tablet or iPad. You can edit your login name in settings. https://us04web.zoom.us/profile.
Please feel free to turn off your video and mute the sound if you do not want to share your images of your.
household with the congregation. You will still be able hear and see mass from Fr Damian.
Please do not share your screen or use the chat feature as this interrupts our online mass.
During the service, we mute the participants which makes it easier to follow the mass without other
voices or background noises. Thanks to the generosity of some parishioners there is no time limit so you are invited to stay and chat after mass if you wish.
Stay at home, pray at home.
Daily Prayer at 6.00
The Catholic Bishops of England and Wales urge us to join in a shared moment of prayer each day at 6pm. At Our Lady and St Benedict’s we share the wonderful prayer The Angelus remembering the incarnation of our blessed mother Mary.
The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary,
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary, etc
Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
Be it done unto me according to Your Word. Hail Mary, etc.
And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Hail Mary, etc.
Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray:
Pour forth, we beseech You, O Lord, Your Grace into our hearts; that as we have known the incarnation of Christ, your Son by the message of an angel, so by His passion and cross we may be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.
