Absences

If your child is unwell, please telephone the school before 9.00am on the first day of absence and everyday thereafter until you child returns to school. We understand that children will be unwell from time to time and they will need time at home to get better. However I would urge you to only keep your child off school if it is absolutely necessary.

Please note that leave of absence will only be granted in exceptional circumstances, any absence that is not an illness will be unauthorised unless it has been agreed in advance by the headteacher. If you require leave of absence for your child you must make an appointment with the headteacher. 

Fixed penalty notices for unauthorised absences will be served through Warwickshire Local Authority.
